Patrick Gibbs (b. 1959)

Patrick's passion for art was ignited at the age of seven when he entered a primary school painting competition and won first prize of a new pencil case. He then somehow managed to fail his O-level Art before scraping through his Art A-level. Patrick's career soon got back on track when he headed off to Oxford to study at The Ruskin School of Drawing and Magdalen College.

Since then Patrick has travelled extensively around the world, painting whatever inspires him, which is a wide variety of subject matter. He has exhibited at many galleries in both London and the USA, and has a large following of loyal collectors who vie for his work, which range from £750 to £10,000 each.

As a keen tennis player, he has always enjoyed painting tennis scenes, some of which we are privileged to be able to present here, exclusively at The Tennis Emporium.
